Andrea Alonzo Chamber Las Vegas, Nevada, has 20 years of experience in consumer electronics and retail, healthcare, and real estate. Chambers has been a representative, investor, and entrepreneur around the world. 

What motivated you to become an entrepreneur? 

My father owned a small business in my hometown and I grew up watching him run it. He always had a clear vision of where he wanted to go with his business but it was his attitude and motivation that made me want to be like him when I grew up. 

He was also successful at being entrepreneurial. As a result, being an entrepreneur has been one of my dreams since I was very young. When I graduated from college, I took a job as an investment banker for several years before deciding to pursue my dream and start my own company. It’s hard work, but it’s worth every minute! 

How did you get involved with the Andre Chamber? 

As a resident of Las Vegas, I wanted to get involved with another local organization. Andre Chamber seemed like a good fit since I’m interested in helping other small businesses grow. My goal is to be resourceful and develop relationships with other business owners. Having worked at large companies where staff was enormous compared to my current job at City National Bank, my expertise would come in handy as one of Andre Chamber’s representatives to help further its goals. 

What are your goals for this year as a member of our Andre chamber? 

My goal is to help other entrepreneurs in as many ways as possible and pay it forward. I also want to use my knowledge and experience to mentor others who are looking for ideas on how to start a business or where they can apply their talents. I would like to help give back any way I can so that others will be able to have a better life in all aspects. 

I believe that we should always give back to our community because when we do, we get more than what we put into it. If you’re willing to go out there and take risks with your time and money then you should definitely try something new. It may not work out but at least you tried! Never let fear hold you back from living your dreams! The only thing holding you back from success is yourself!
