Andre grew weary of his work load at one of these large enterprises; he left his position in 2010 to follow his passion in technology investment. Andre decided that he wanted to focus on investing because he found it to be more creatively fulfilling than consulting ever was. 

Influences in his life 

Andre’s parents instilled values in him from a young age. My mother always told me that education was key, and if I did my homework, I could be whoever I wanted to be Andre said. This was just one of many life lessons that he learned from his family throughout his childhood. 

He also had an uncle who owned his own business, which made him want to follow in those footsteps. He saw how hard it was for his uncle to build up his business, but how rewarding it was once he had accomplished it. 

This is what motivated Andre to start making money at such a young age. From working on landscaping jobs with other kids in high school, Andre began saving money so that he could purchase some tools for himself when he turned 18 years old.
